Feliz Navidad

The celebration of "Christmas in Spain" brought a unique cultural experience to Kolkata. La Casa de los Políglotas and Tapaste Kolkata collaborated to create this event, which was held for the first time on December 22, 2022, at Tapaste.

The gathering was graced by Advocate IP Biswajit Sarkar, along with other notable guests. 

During the event, Mr. Subhojit Roy, the founder of La Casa de los Políglotas, shared insightful details on the significance of Christmas in Spain. He introduced the audience to various Spanish Christmas phrases like Bo Nadal, Eguberri, and Feliz Nadal, apart from the well-known Feliz Navidad. Mr. Roy added to the cultural immersion by introducing the guests to Spanish Christmas traditions such as Tío Nadal, Olentzero and Spanish Christmas cuisine, which included Polvorones and Mantecados, Roscos de Vino, and Turrón.

The guests were also given a special token of appreciation, a wine cup with La Casa de los Políglotas and Tapaste names printed on it, which was presented to Advocate IP Biswajit Sarkar. 

The event was organized beautifully, with Mr. Kunal Ganguly (One of the owners of Tapaste) managing everything.

Overall, "Christmas in Spain" was an exceptional event that taught people about Spanish culture, traditions and food. The collaboration between La Casa de los Políglotas and Tapaste Kolkata made this event unique and inspiring, giving the guests an unforgettable experience. It was a beautiful celebration that promoted cultural diversity and bridged the gap between communities.
