Felicitating Mr Quazi Rownaq Hossain - A Celebration of Excellence

On the 21st of February, 2023, La Casa de los Políglotas had the pleasure of celebrating International Mother Language Day alongside Chhayanat (Kolkata). It was a momentous occasion that brought together language enthusiasts and poets from diverse backgrounds to celebrate the power and beauty of languages.

During this special event, we were honoured to have Sargam from Bangladesh as our esteemed media partner, capturing the essence of the celebration with their journalistic prowess. Our food partner for the day was Tapaste - A Spanish Cafeteria, that adds a delicious touch of Spanish flavours to our cultural gathering.

Although our hearts were filled with joy, there was a tinge of regret that the Editor of Sargam, Mr Quazi Rownaq Hossain was unable to attend the ceremony. Nevertheless, the spirit of appreciation prevailed, and a couple of days heretofore, Ms Somerita Mallik, President of Chhayanat (Kolkata), graciously felicitated Mr Hossain with our official memento on behalf of Chhayanat (Kolkata) and La Casa de los Políglotas.

This act of recognition and gratitude filled Mr Subhojit Roy, the founder of La Casa de los Políglotas, with immense privilege. It was a testament to the unity and camaraderie shared among language enthusiasts, transcending borders and bridging gaps through the common love for literature and culture.
