Mi paraíso un campo

Sin ruiseñor

Ni liras,

Con un río discreto

Y una fuentecilla.

Sin la espuela del viento

Sobre la fronda,

Ni la estrella que quiere

Ser hoja.

Una enorme luz

Que fuera

Luciérnaga

De otra,

En un campo de

Miradas rotas.

Un reposo claro

Y allí nuestros besos,

Lunares sonoros

Del eco,

Se abrirían muy lejos.

Y tu corazón caliente,

Nada más.

صرف تمہارا چنچل دل ہو

کچھ اور نہیں

میری جنّت ہو ایک میدا ں 

نہ ہی بلبل ہو جہاں   

 اور نہ ہی چنگ ورباب

اک پرسکون دریا ہو  

اور ایک چشمہ 

جھو نکے نہ ہوں ہوا کے 

سبزوں پہ پتّیوں پہ

 اور ہو نہ  وہ ستارہ جو چاھے

نشتر بننا

ایک چمکتا نور 

جوکہ ھو    

جگنو

کسی اور کا

 ایک میدا ن میں

جہاں نظروں کی رسائی نہ ہو

 ہو پرسکون عالم

اور وہاں ہمارے بوسے 

  مانند چاندنی کے

  جنکی آوازوں کی گونج

جو پھیلتی ہوں یکسر 

صرف تمہارا چنچل  دل ہو

Faizan Ahamad is a Research Scholar at the Centre for Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Latin American Studies, School of Languages, Literature and Cultural Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru university, New Delhi. He has completed his MPhil and masters in Spanish from the same university. He has qualified junior research fellowship conducted by National Testing Agency  in 2019. He had secured a scholarship for Colombia during July 2018- June 2019, for educational and cultural exchange program, awarded by ICETEX, ministry of education and government of Colombia. He has been assisting in the teaching of couple of courses in CSPILAS, SLL & CS, JNU. He has presented some notable papers at national and international conferences also he has published his works in academic journals.
